A B2B pilot proposed to cross-border mobility professionals

WunnCheck helps people who work in Luxembourg compare where to live across Luxembourg, France, Germany and Belgium: housing, commute, telework and estimated monthly budget. We are proposing a limited pilot to relocation providers, employers, recruitment platforms and payroll advisers. No partnership is active today.

No fake partners, no fake reviews, no fake testimonials. Pilot proposal — no pilot is running and no results have been measured.

The cross-border decision is fragmented

Someone accepting a job in Luxembourg has to weigh four possible countries of residence. The relevant information — rents, commutes, treaty tax thresholds, telework share, net budget — is scattered and does not line up naturally.

Four possible countries

Luxembourg, France, Germany and Belgium offer very different balances of housing cost, commute time and telework headroom. Comparing all four consistently is difficult because housing, commute, telework and review requirements follow different assumptions.

Rules that do not line up

The treaty tax threshold, the telework share for social security and the monthly budget follow separate logics. Mixing them up produces bad decisions or unfounded worries.

A triage cost for teams

Relocation consultants, HR teams and payroll advisers often answer the same basic orientation questions before they can work on the real individual case.

Who this orientation layer can serve

WunnCheck provides structured orientation and review flags. Individual advice — tax, payroll, legal, mortgage or relocation — remains the work of qualified partners.

Relocation providers

A comparison framework to share with supported employees, so the first meeting starts from a structured scenario instead of a blank page.

Employers / HR

A self-orientation aid for new cross-border hires, with clear flags on the cases that deserve an HR, payroll or legal review.

Job & recruitment platforms

Useful orientation content for candidates hesitating over a Luxembourg offer because of the where-to-live question.

Payroll / tax advisers

Potentially better-framed questions when a client chooses to share their scenario: explicit assumptions, flagged thresholds and a sharper scope from the first conversation.

How the journey works

The journey stays deliberately simple. Each step separates what is estimated from what must be verified officially.

Scenario input

Salary, family situation, housing, telework rhythm and commute. Inputs stay in the user's browser.

Country comparison

Luxembourg, France, Germany and Belgium compared in three separate reads: treaty tax exposure, social security and disposable budget.

Review flags

Thresholds approached or exceeded, possible A1 procedure, cases outside the standard scope: the tool calmly flags what needs a human review.

Optional follow-up

If the user requests follow-up, WunnCheck can help structure the next conversation. The user decides what information to share; no calculator case is automatically sent to a partner.

What WunnCheck estimates — and what it does not determine

WunnCheck estimates

  • A simplified Luxembourg withholding and employee contributions
  • The monthly budget left after housing and commute, on editable assumptions
  • Exposure to treaty tax thresholds based on days worked outside Luxembourg
  • The telework share against the social-security framework, as a separate read
  • A country-by-country comparison with explicit review flags

WunnCheck does not determine

  • The full residual taxation of the country of residence
  • An official A1 or social-security affiliation decision
  • Tax, legal, payroll, notarial or mortgage advice on an individual case
  • Complex public-sector, multi-employer or multi-country cases
  • A bank commitment or real borrowing capacity
Official verification is always required before any decision.

A 4–6 week pilot, built together

This is a proposed framework, not an existing programme: no pilot is running, no partner is committed and no results have been measured. The exact scope is defined with each partner before anything starts.

Proposed framework

  • Duration: 4 to 6 weeks, with a mid-point check-in
  • Audience: roughly 10 to 30 users invited by the partner — employees weighing a move, candidates in relocation or ongoing HR cases
  • Access: the existing public comparison tool, no account or installation
  • Partner effort: invite the users and share qualitative feedback

What the pilot would seek to evaluate

  • Do invited users complete the comparison journey?
  • Is the result judged useful for the where-to-live decision?
  • Does genuine interest in a partner handoff appear?
  • Does upstream triage save consultant or HR time?

These are evaluation questions, not results. No conversion, satisfaction or time-saving figures exist today.

Proposed evaluation method: voluntary feedback from invited users, voluntary partner feedback, a manual pilot review and aggregated observations supplied intentionally by the pilot partner. The public site uses no background tracking, and no calculator inputs are collected for pilot measurement. Adding analytics or further instrumentation would require a separate privacy review and explicit disclosure before use.

Data and privacy

Comparison inputs

Comparison inputs (salary, housing, commute, telework) are processed locally in the user's browser. The public site code contains no storage of these inputs, no analytics script and no user accounts.

Contact form

The contact form is a separate processing step: submitted details are transmitted via Formspree to the operator's mailbox, as described in the privacy notice. Nothing is sent without a deliberate user action.

Collaboration models worth exploring

Possible paths after a pilot

  • Qualified referrals, to be defined with each partner
  • Co-branded guide for employees or candidates
  • Shared educational content
  • Employer / HR workshop
  • API / data integration later, if it makes sense

Framing note

Before any public partner listing, WunnCheck must define the handoff process, compliance boundaries and commercial model. No partner is displayed before that framing exists.

The tone stays deliberately non-committal until those points are settled.

Discuss the pilot

Describe your context — client type, volume of cross-border cases, the form of collaboration you have in mind. We reply to scope a conversation, with no commitment on either side.
